HomeSearch was building a property intelligence platform covering all 28.8 million homes in the UK — a dataset of unprecedented scale for a real estate startup. The core challenge was integrating mapping APIs to display properties on interactive maps with real-time search, filtering by dozens of criteria, and smooth performance even when rendering thousands of markers. We built the Vue.js frontend with deep Google Maps integration, implemented geocoding for address-to-coordinate conversion, and created an advanced search system that could filter the entire UK housing stock in milliseconds. The responsive design ensured agents could use it on tablets during property viewings.
