After raising a $4.1M Series A, WorkShield needed to rapidly expand their platform capabilities. The existing codebase needed new reporting workflows, enhanced case management features, and a more robust notification system — all while maintaining the strict confidentiality guarantees their users depend on. We extended the React frontend with new case tracking dashboards, built out the Node.js/Express backend with advanced filtering and analytics, and integrated with third-party compliance verification APIs. Every feature went through rigorous security review given the sensitive nature of workplace harassment data.
