Intel's Retail Edge Program serves thousands of retail sales associates worldwide with product training, certification courses, and competitive knowledge tools. The platform needed to work flawlessly across desktops in store backrooms, tablets on the sales floor, and phones during commutes — with offline capability for areas with poor connectivity. We built the Angular application with Node.js and MongoDB, implementing adaptive layouts that reorganize content for each device class, a progressive web app layer for offline access, and a learning management system that tracks progress across courses. The platform serves 50,000+ active users across 12 countries.
