WeShop faced a critical scaling bottleneck: their backend was written in Clojure, making it difficult to hire developers and iterate quickly. We undertook a full backend rewrite to Node.js/Express — migrating business logic, payment processing, and social media integrations without disrupting the live platform. Simultaneously, we built out AWS infrastructure with Terraform, set up comprehensive monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus, and established CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins. The migration was completed with zero downtime and resulted in 2x improvement in API response times.
